Anglers have enjoyed catching fish here for over 50 years

Tingrith Fishery is located in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, just on the edge of the Woburn Abbey Estate. The fishery is over 50 years old, so this well established fishery is a world apart from many commercials which many of us now spend a lot of time on the banks of. While you are fishing you will be treated to some stunning surroundings, you will see a range of different plants and wild animals.

Fishing wise, Tingrith offers a choice of 3 pieces of water:

Fringe Lake – this 1.5 acre lake is well stocked with a range of species. If the carp aren’t feeding, you will enjoy a day bagging on the silverfish.

Orchid Lake – there are some cracking specimen fish in this lake. At a sizable 6 acres, the fish can sometimes take some finding. The carp go over 30lbs, catfish over 50lbs, and tench over 10lbs.

Cherry Lake – another well stocked lake which produces great year round sport. The 25 pegs on here are often in high demand.

Onsite there is a great cafe, so if you got up early and missed breakfast you can get a feed before you start fishing.
