A lovely large natural venue

Bolam Lake is a large 25 acre piece of water which is located in Belsay, Northumberland. The lake makes up the centre piece of Bolam Lake Country Park, as a result the lake gets a lot of visitors – bare this in mind when you are planning your fishing trip. If you don’t like being asked if you have caught anything it might be best to go fishing at Bolam Lake during the week, or go somewhere else!

Fishing at Bolam Lake is subject to a close season – fishing is allowed from June 16th to March 14th.

Day Tickets, Membership and Prices

Tickets for fishing at Bolam Lake must be purchased in advance from the Post Office in Belsay. Day tickets are priced at £8, a season ticket is available for £32.

Concessions receive a 50% discount on these rates.
