Bolam Lake is a large 25 acre piece of water which is located in Belsay, Northumberland. The lake makes up the center piece of Bolam Lake Country Park, as a result the lake gets a lot of visitors - bear this in mind when you are planning your fishing trip. If you don't like being asked if you have caught anything it might be best to go fishing at Bolam Lake during the week.

Fishing at Bolam Lake is subject to a close season - fishing is allowed from June 16th to March 14th.

Tickets and Prices

Tickets for fishing at Bolam Lake must be prchased in advance from the Post Office in Belsay. Day tickets are priced at £8, a season ticket is available for £32. Concessions recieve a 50% discount on these rates.
