Coking Farm Fishery in West Stour, Gillingham offers something for everyone, matchmen, specimen anglers and pleasure fishermen. If you fancy trying something different, you could try targeting their catfish.
The venue offers a choice of 5 lakes:
Woodland Specimen Lake – A great specimen lake which contains carp and catfish. The 3.5 acre lake can be quite challenging, but if you find the fish you should have a great day.
Long Lake – There is a very large number of carp in here. If you are just getting into specimen fishing this would be a perfect water, the carp range between 5-20lbs. Some catfish also lurk in the depths if you want to catch something different.
Oak Specimen Lake – Another lake for the carp boys. There are over 100 carp between 15lbs to 30lbs, hopefully you can scoop one into your landing net.
Meadow Lake – this is a 4 acre lake which is stocked with carp. There are over 120 carp which when stocked all weighted over 20lbs.
Rush Lake – a match lake which is stocked with a range of species. This is a very fair and consistent water, which makes it a great match venue. The winning match weights on here are often 100lbs plus in the warmer months.
