Woodside Fishery which is located close to Kidderminster is referred to by the owners as one of the best kept secrets in the Midlands. The fishery may not have the kudos given to other venues in the West Midlands, but they are confident that you will have a great days fishing if you give it a try. When the venue was developed, they spent a lot of time developing the land around the lakes to make them look as natural as possible. This has certainly paid off, the fishery has matured into a nature reserve that supports a wide range of different species.

Rules and Restrictions

  • Barbless hooks only
  • No litter
  • No keepnets – except in matches
  • Fishery landing nets and keepnets must be used
  • No balling in groundbait
  • No trout pellets – but normal pellets can be used
  • No bloodworm and joker
  • No boilies
  • No liquidised bread
  • No hemp or nuts
  • No fixed rigs
  • No braid
  • No bite alarms allowed
  • Junior anglers under the age of 15 must be supervised by an adult
  • No dogs, fires or radios
