Roan Fishery is located in Norton, close to Doncaster. This is a modern fishery that was built in 2007, and was designed around the a commercial angler’s needs. The lake is set in a 5 acre plot of land, the 2.5 acres water offers 43 pegs, so compared to some commercials, there will be a large piece of water for all anglers. The pegs on the lake are well built and level, some of these are wheelchair friendly.
The lake is well stocked with a range of species including carp, crucians, F1s, tench, chub, rudd, barbel and roach. The match record for the venue is over 180lbs, so that will give you an idea of how many fish there are.
On-site you will find a cafe that sells a selection of hot and cold food, a tackle shop and a toilet block. There is plenty of car parking, with pretty short walks to the pegs.
