Eden Meadows Fishery in Wingate, Durham, is a venue that has a good reputation with both pleasure and match anglers. There are 3 waters on the complex:
Meadow Lake – the largest lake on the complex with 30 pegs. This is a well established water, stocked with a range of species – along with some big doubles. This is a pleasure lake, but on occasions is used for matches.
Cherry Tree – the smaller of the match lakes with 12 pegs. The weights on here are usually made up from Carp and Tench, but silvers can figure if the conditions are tough.
Acer Lake – the other match lake which is well stocked with carp and tench. They should provide plenty of sport, so make sure your gear and back are up to it! Pole is a consistent method over to the far bank.
Onsite there are toilet facilities and a shop that provides snacks, drinks and some tinned/dry bait. They have a microwave which people are able to use to heat up food.
