Blundells Fishery near Warrington has the reputation for being a fantastic fishery – if you go a few times you should start to recognise some of the other regulars who frequent the banks! The fishery offers a choice of different waters to attack:
Oak & Willow Pools – These are large pools which are stocked with a range of coarse species. A typical match weights needed on these lakes would normally run into treble figures!
Hawthorne Canal – a smaller 15 peg venue which is well stocked and will provide great fishing for all anglers.
East Lodge Canal – this 19 peg canal style pond is a great choice for a match as it is stocked with a high number of F1s, roach, crucian’s, chub and perch.
West Lodge Canal – this match water has 18 pegs and is primarily stocked with carp.
Ash Canal – a new recently added 19 peg canal type pond which is stocked mainly with carp.
Pine Canal – a new recently added 20 peg canal type pond which is stocked with a very large number of smaller fish including carp, ide, chub and skimmers.
