A cracking venue to catch fish through the year

High Heys Farm Fishery, near Chorley is a great venue which is stocked with a wide range of coarse species. The venue is renowned for big all year round weights, when the carp stop feeding in the colder months the silver fish come out to play. There are 4 lakes to tackle at High Heys Farm:

Lake One – Big bags of skimmers should be on the cards on here. Make sure you fish with suitable tackle, there are some big bonus carp and tench in here.

Lake Two – The islands are the key fish holding areas that prove to be successful for most anglers.

Lake Three A – This lake holds some big carp and barbel, so make sure you scale up your tackle if you want to ensure you get them on the bank!

Lake Three B – A lake which is stocked with a wide range of species. Fishing on here should provide bites through the year if you fish accordingly, if you need a confidence session then you should get plenty of fish.
