Speke Hall Dam is located within the grounds of Speke Hall. The estate is owned by the National Trust and is a very popular tourist attraction, the fishing is managed by Speke Hall Angling Club. If you feel like a change from fishing commercial venues then this could be a great alternative for you.
The fishing on the lake can be somewhat sporadic, so it might be a venue that you have to visit several times before you get the hang of things and understand which methods/baits work best
