A fishery with some running water options

There is a range of fishing options at Barton Court Fishery in Hungerford, the fishery consists of a 3.5 mile stretch of the River Keenet and well established 3.5 acre lake.

The section on the River Keenet offers some fantastic chalk stream action. You can catch brown trout on the fly, or when the trout season ends you can target the coarse fish.

The Lake is with a wide range of coarse species including carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and pike. This should give you plenty of options depending on the time of year or what fish you prefer to catch.

In addition to the ample car parking, toilets and picnic facilities are also available for anglers.

Rules and Restrictions

  • Dip landing net in tank supplied
  • Barbless hooks only
  • No braided line or hair rigs
  • No boiles or nuts
  • No keepnets
  • All large fish must be put onto an unhooking mat
  • No dogs
  • No live baiting for pike
  • All fish must be returned

Day Tickets, Membership and Prices

All anglers must visit the East Lodge to pay before starting to fish. A session at Barton Court Fishery will be charged at the following rates:

1 rod per person per day: £6.00
2 rods per person per day: £10.00
3 rods per person per day: £15.00
