The Royal Berkshire Fishery is located in Winkfield, Windsor. If you are wondering why you may be familiar with that part of Berkshire, the fishery just down the road from Legoland. Set in seven acres of rural countryside, the picturesque fishery offers a choice of three waters, aptly named, Lake 1, Lake 2 and Lake 3.

The Rod & Reel Cafe is open every day between 7am – 4pm. In there you can buy drinks and a selection of hot and cold drinks – perfect for topping up the energy levels after bagging up. It is possible to book the fishery for matches, club bookings or corporate events.

Rules and Restrictions

  • Maximum breaking strain line up to 10lbs
  • Strictly barbless hooks only (no micro barbed hooks or crushed barbed hooks)
  • No keep nets
  • Landing nets to be used at all times (minimum size 22″)
  • Carp unhooking mats necessary
  • All fish to be returned immediately to the water
  • No ground bait or liquidised bread
  • No boilies
  • No floating baits
  • No braided or dacron line (also applies to hook lengths) – mono line only
  • No nuts
  • No halibut pellets
  • No trout pellets
  • No bread to be used as bait
  • No fixed rigs
  • No bolt rigs
  • Method feeders only to be used with a mould
  • Unused bait to be binned or taken home, not to be discarded in lake

The fishing at the Royal Berkshire Fishery is charged at the following rates:

Day tickets:

One rod: £10
Two rods: £12

Evenings – After 4.30pm (April 1st to October 31st)

One rod: £8
Two rods: £10

Over 65s (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays)
