Oakfield Fishery is a cracking venue which is located in Ayelsbury, Buckinghamshire. The venue is popular with both pleasure and match anglers, it provides great sport all through the year if you adjust your fishing style accordingly. If you fancy popping down for a session you now have the choice of four waters:
Brook – This is a water that has been designed for pole tactics. There are lots of island features, most of which are within 12m – so no backbreaking days of 16m action. There are lots of species in here, so you should have a good varied day.
Red Kite – a larger and more open water means that on tbe right day pole, feeder or waggler tactics can all produce the goods. Summer matches are often won with weights over 150lbs, in the winter months you will still need over 50lbs to coin.
Swallow – a smaller lake which has a large head of smaller fish. These stockies will be transferred into the other waters as they develop. You should get plenty of bites on here.
Woodpecker – a rejuvenated water which has been stocked with carp and skimmers. The match record on here sits above 220lbs – so there are lots of fish in there just waiting to give you a fun day.
Onsite you will find that there is plenty of space to park up near your pegs. There is a cafe which serves a selection of hot and cold food, there is also a toilet block
