Clattercote Reservoir is a very well established fishery located in the Oxfordshire countryside. The venue is popular with anglers, many of which travel from the surrounding area to compete in matches.
The dominant species in Clattercote Reservoir are the carp, these tend to make up the bulk of the winning match weights. The carp average in the 3-4lbs region, but there are some 30+ lumps in there – so make sure you tackle up accordingly! As with most venues, due to the amount of bait that goes in, there are some pretty decent sized roach, tench and bream swimming around. All in all, if you fish to the conditions you should have a rod bending day on the bank.
