Sensible afternoon and winter pricing

Woodpeckers Fishery is part of Ley House Farm which is in Worth, near Crawley. The venue dates back to 1992 when the first lake was created. Since then, another 3 have been added:

Woodpeckers Lake – the 30 pegs on here are often in high demand from pleasure anglers who want to bag up on the carp and silverfish.

Ospreys Lake – the latest water to be added to the fishery adds another 40 pegs. The lake is stocked with a range of species including perch that go to 5lbs.

Newts Predator Pond – if you like fish with teeth, this is the lake for you. There are good stocks of pike and perch, plus carp that go to 18lbs.

Penny’s Pond – the smallest lake on the fishery which is very well suited to beginners. It should be a bite a chuck, the lake is stocked with a high number of silver and ornamental fish.

  • No keepnets or carp sacks
  • No live or dead baits
  • No dogs

  • No unaccompanied juniors under 16
  • Fish from marked pegs only
  • No fish to be removed from the fishery

Day Tickets, Membership and Prices

The fishing at Woodpeckers Fishery is charged at the following rates:

Adults, up to 2 rods: £8
Concessions and juntios, up to 2 rods: £6

After 1pm the price reduces to £6 for all anglers. In the winter between December to February the day ticket price for everyone is £6.
