Viaduct fishery in Somerset is another one of those nationally renowned places to go fishing. Venues don’t earn these accolades by default, so rest assured this is a great place to spend a days fishing. This is a well established venue, so in addition to the great spot, you will also enjoy a relaxing day with the chance of spotting a range of birds and other animals.
Spring Lake and Middle Lake – These are the original lakes on the venue, which are actually joined together. If you are into your specimen fishing then you should probably plump for a peg around these waters. The lake record carp is 27lbs.
Match Lake – as the name would suggest, the lake is stocked with a good head of smaller carp and F1s. Take plenty of bait, you should have a busy days fishing on here.
Lodge Lake – this is the closest lake to the club house, so you won’t have to work far to go and get a drink or some food! The lake is stocked with with plenty of silver fish – along with carp that run into the low 20s.
Cary Lake – Named after the adjacent river, this is a very popular piece of water. There is a large head of double figure carp, but there are also some super perch and tench!
Campbell Lake – this is a match only lake, so there is no pleasure fishing on here. It is pretty common for match weights to run into triple figures, with the lake match record standing at over 300lbs!
