Two interesting lakes close to Burstwick

Kelsey Gardens is set in a very tranquil and picturesque area of East Yorkshire. If you enjoy fishing stillwater venues but fancy a change from the standard commercial setting this should be just the break you need. These former gravel pits break away form the snake lake or oval lake commercial format.

The venue has two lakes in total, the North and South lake. The South lake is used for a range of different water sport activities, but only fishing is allowed on the North lake. You have the choice to fish on both, but you might find you get a lot of disturbance from the other users on the South lake.

The venue is stocked with a wide range of species. There are high numbers of silver fish which provide good sport, especially during the colder months when the carp may not be feeding.
