The return of the podcast with a true Nottingham and River Trent legend, Alan Courtney.
Alan Courtney was kind enough to sit down for an interview and shared with us some of his background on fishing and the time he’s spent on the Trent and other places across the country.
Learn about Alan’s fishing career, from his first days on the steps of the Embankment in the late 70’s through to dipping his toes in the commercial scene as the rivers declined in the 90’s. A true river fanatic, you’ll often find Alan on the river on the weekend, but that could be anywhere between Burton and Newark. In the closed season you might find him swimming in the canal!
